Services

Seven things, and who each one is actually for.

  1. 01

    Monthly bookkeeping

    From $290 a month

Categorised, reconciled, and closed by the tenth of the following month. Price depends on how many transactions and how many accounts, not on revenue.

ForAnyone who has stopped being able to answer 'how did last month go' without opening a spreadsheet.

  2. 02

    Payroll

    From $95 a month

Runs, filings, and year-end forms for up to five people. Above five it is quoted separately because the filings multiply.

ForBusinesses with employees, and owners who need to pay themselves properly.

  3. 03

    Individual return

    From $450

Federal and one state. Self-employment income, rentals, and equity compensation each add to it, and you will know the figure before I start.

ForFreelancers and households with anything beyond a W-2.

  4. 04

    Business return

    From $1,100

Partnership or S corporation, federal and one state, including the K-1s. Requires books that are actually closed.

ForPartnerships and S corporations under about ten people.

  5. 05

    Quarterly estimates

    $180 a quarter

A calculated figure and a payment reminder, rather than a guess in April that turns into a penalty.

ForAnybody with self-employment income who was surprised last year.

  6. 06

    Catch-up bookkeeping

    $85 an hour

Prior years, rebuilt from statements. Slow, unglamorous, and the only way out of a bad year. Quoted after a look at what exists.

ForPeople who have not reconciled since 2023 and know it.

  7. 07

    A second opinion

    $300

An hour with a return somebody else filed, and a written note of anything worth amending.

ForAnyone who suspects last year went badly and wants to know before it repeats.

The monthly rhythm

  1. By the 5th

    You send statements

Bank, card, and anything that did not import. A shared folder, not email attachments.

  2. By the 10th

    Books closed

Categorised and reconciled, with a short list of anything I could not identify.

  3. By the 12th

    You get three numbers

What came in, what went out, and what to set aside for tax. One page, not a portal.

  4. Quarterly

    Estimates

A figure and a due date, calculated rather than last year's number repeated.

  5. November

    The planning call

Forty-five minutes on what to do before December 31st, while it can still be done.
