Nightly contracts

What is not included is set in the same size as what is.

Every complaint in a janitorial contract comes from one of the right-hand columns below. Putting them the same size as the scope is the cheapest thing we do.

  1. Office

    Five nights

    In the scope

Trash and recycling, restrooms, kitchen and break areas, entry glass, vacuum traffic lanes, spot-mop hard floors, desk surfaces where they are clear.

    Not in the scope

Anything on a desk that is not clear, dishes left in a sink, and personal fridges. Named here because these are what get complained about.

  2. Clinic and dental

    Five or six nights

    In the scope

Operatories and treatment rooms to your written protocol, restrooms, waiting area, floors, high-touch surfaces, sharps container area but never the container itself.

    Not in the scope

Regulated medical waste, sterilisation equipment, anything inside a cabinet marked by your staff, and anything your protocol says is clinical staff only.

  3. Day porter

    Daytime hours

    In the scope

Restroom rounds, entry and lobby, spills, stocking consumables, and whatever the building manager asks for on the day.

    Not in the scope

Anything requiring a lift or a ladder over six feet, which needs its own visit and its own paperwork.

Clinic work follows your written protocol, not ours. Nothing in a clinical area is touched unless your protocol says a cleaning crew may touch it.
