Your data
Six questions, answered without a privacy policy.
There is a policy as well, and it says the same things at greater length. This page is the version you would actually read.
- What it collects
- The times you type in — when you went to bed, roughly when you fell asleep, when you woke, when you got up — plus which weeks you completed.
- What it does not collect
- Location, contacts, microphone, health data from your phone, and anything from any other app. It does not ask for those permissions and it never will.
- Where it lives
- On your phone, and on our server so it survives a lost handset. Encrypted in both places.
- Who else sees it
- Nobody. It is not sold, not shared with a partner company, and not used to train anything. There is no advertising business here to feed it to.
- Getting it out
- Export the whole diary as a spreadsheet or a PDF at any time, including after the eight weeks are over. The PDF is laid out to be handed to a doctor.
- Deleting it
- One button, immediate, and it takes the server copy with it. No survey asking why and no thirty-day grace period during which we hope you come back.
The export is designed for a doctor
A fortnight of honest sleep diary is genuinely useful in a ten minute appointment, and most people arrive without one. The PDF is laid out for that — one page, the pattern visible, no branding across the top.
