Your data

Six questions, answered without a privacy policy.

There is a policy as well, and it says the same things at greater length. This page is the version you would actually read.

What it collects
The times you type in — when you went to bed, roughly when you fell asleep, when you woke, when you got up — plus which weeks you completed.
What it does not collect
Location, contacts, microphone, health data from your phone, and anything from any other app. It does not ask for those permissions and it never will.
Where it lives
On your phone, and on our server so it survives a lost handset. Encrypted in both places.
Who else sees it
Nobody. It is not sold, not shared with a partner company, and not used to train anything. There is no advertising business here to feed it to.
Getting it out
Export the whole diary as a spreadsheet or a PDF at any time, including after the eight weeks are over. The PDF is laid out to be handed to a doctor.
Deleting it
One button, immediate, and it takes the server copy with it. No survey asking why and no thirty-day grace period during which we hope you come back.

The export is designed for a doctor

A fortnight of honest sleep diary is genuinely useful in a ten minute appointment, and most people arrive without one. The PDF is laid out for that — one page, the pattern visible, no branding across the top.
