Shares

Five things to buy, and one of them is smaller on purpose.

Half shares exist because a full share defeats most households in week eight. If you cook three or four nights a week rather than seven, take the half — you will finish the season instead of quitting it.

  • Full share

    $680

    22 weeks, about $31 a week

Two people who cook most nights, or a family of four who eat a lot of vegetables.

Seven to eleven items a week depending on the week. June is at the low end and September is at the high end.

  • Half share

    $395

    22 weeks, about $18 a week

One or two people, or a household that eats out twice a week.

The same box, smaller. Not every other week — we tried that and everybody forgot.

  • Egg add-on

    $145

    One dozen a week

    Anyone.

From a neighbour's flock down the road, not ours. We will happily tell you whose.

  • Flower share

    $220

    Weeks 5 to 20

    A jar on a table.

Cut Friday, collected with your vegetables. Sixteen weeks rather than twenty-two.

  • Fall storage box

    $110

    One collection in November

    A winter of soup.

Potatoes, onions, carrots, cabbage, and winter squash in quantity. Sold separately from the share.

In one go
By the end of March. Simplest, and it is what most people do.
In three
March, May, and July, by transfer. Ask and we set it up.
Work trade
Four places a season, four hours a week, share included. They go quickly and they are hard work.

Prices shown are last season’s and will be confirmed before sign-ups open in February.

This is not a checkout. Ruth reads these, writes back within a few days with an invoice, and will tell you if she thinks you have picked the wrong size.

It is the only thing that decides full or half.
