Stages
Two columns, the same size, because the right one is what causes arguments.
01
Maintenance wash and decontamination
$180
About 3 hours
What it fixes
- Road film, brake dust, and bug residue
- Bonded iron particles that make paint feel gritty
- Tar and overspray on the lower panels
- Wheels, arches, and door shuts
What it does not
- Swirl marks — those are scratches, and a wash does not remove scratches
- Water spot etching that has bitten into the clear coat
- Anything you can catch a fingernail in
02
Single stage paint correction
$620
About 8 hours, one full day
What it fixes
- Most light swirl marks and wash marring
- Roughly sixty to seventy percent of visible defects on typical clear coat
- Dullness from years of automatic car washes
What it does not
- Deep scratches through the clear coat
- Stone chips, which need paint rather than polish
- Anything on a panel that has been resprayed badly — we will tell you before we start
03
Two stage paint correction
$1,150
Two days
What it fixes
- Heavier swirls and light random deep scratches
- Eighty to ninety percent of defects on most paint
- Holograms left by a rotary in the wrong hands
What it does not
- One hundred percent of anything. Nobody can, and clear coat is finite.
- Chips and cracks
- Anything requiring more clear coat removal than is safe — measured, not guessed
04
Ceramic coating, one year
$420 on top of correction
Adds a day for curing
What it fixes
- Makes washing easier and safer, which is how paint stays corrected
- Resists chemical etching from bird mess and sap if you get to it reasonably soon
What it does not
- Scratches. A coating is not armour and it does not prevent swirls from a bad wash.
- Stone chips
- The need to wash the car
05
Ceramic coating, three year
$860 on top of correction
Adds a day for curing
What it fixes
- The same, with more durability and more gloss
- Includes one free maintenance wash a year for three years
What it does not
- Scratches, chips, or the need to wash it
- Anything if the car goes back through an automatic wash — that undoes it faster than weather does
06
Interior deep clean
$340
About 5 hours
What it fixes
- Carpets and cloth extracted, not just vacuumed
- Leather cleaned and conditioned
- Vents, seams, seat rails, and the places a valet skips
- Most smells, once the source is out
What it does not
- Permanent dye transfer on light leather
- Cigarette smoke that has been in the headliner for years — improved, not removed
- Tears, splits, and worn bolsters, which are a trimmer's job
