What we do
Nine things, and the flashing is the one that matters.
Four crews. We do our own flashing rather than subbing it out, which is unusual and is the reason our roofs do not leak at the chimney three years in.
Tear-off and re-roof, asphalt shingle
The common one. Two to three days on a typical house, everything off to the deck.
Standing seam metal
Forty to sixty years, three times the price, and it is genuinely quieter than people expect.
Low-slope TPO and modified bitumen
Flat and near-flat sections. Different trade, same crew, done properly.
Flashing and chimney work
Done in house rather than subbed out. It is where roofs fail and it is not a place to save money.
Gutter and downspout replacement
Usually with a re-roof, because the tear-off is when they come off anyway.
Ice and water barrier
At the eaves and in every valley. Not optional on a Cleveland roof.
Ventilation correction
Intake as well as exhaust. Half the ridge vents we see have nothing feeding them.
Leak diagnosis
$220, credited against a repair. Two hours in the attic with a hose on the roof.
Repairs
We do them, including on roofs we did not install. Plenty of roofs need a repair and not a replacement.
Ten years on workmanship, in writing, transferable once. Shingle warranties are the manufacturer’s and are between you and them.
